Dr. Binyomin Abrams is a senior lecturer in Boston University's department of Chemistry. He received the Templeton Award for student advising and the prestigious Metcalf Prize for Excellence in teaching, the highest award given at the the University. Born and raised in Montreal, Dr. Abrams obtained his Bachelors and Masters degrees from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He began his pursuit for Judaism and Jewish studies while working on his doctorate in Physical Chemistry at NYU. Dr. Abrams currently lives in Boston with his wife and daughters.
Dr. Abrams will also talk and be available for questions on Shabbat, December 10th by the Kiddush at 12PM
