The McMullen Museum invites children ages five to twelve to explore its current exhibition, "Cao Jun: Hymns to Nature," and explore the basics of creating, signing, and framing a Chinese scroll. Children and chaperones will begin with a tour through the galleries, featuring over sixty works by contemporary Chinese artist Cao Jun, to observe the artist’s painting techniques and use of Chinese seals, or chops. Following the tour, children will create their own signature seals, use them on rice paper, and make their own wooden frames to hang them.

Because seats are limited, the Museum requests that all children are registered ahead of time at https://goo.gl/D2WBth.
