Experiment, engage, and create in the Bertucci Education Studio every Saturday. Connect with the Museum’s rich collection and special exhibitions through hands-on, interactive, and fun experiences during Saturday drop-in workshops. Prior experience with art-making is not required and participation is free with Museum admission. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.


APRIL 7: OBJECTS OF POWER
This Saturday in the Bertucci Education Studio, participate in a hands-on project informed by powerful objects found in the special exhibition Fra Angelico: Heaven on Earth. This Studio workshop series asks visitors consider how an everyday object is transformed from something ordinary to something powerful through the use of unique techniques and revered materials.


This Studio workshop series for the months of March, April, and May was developed in collaboration with Peter Evonuk, Polly Thayer Starr Artist Series guest artist. Evonuk's work explores human ingenuity and discovery through the redesign and subversion of the ubiquitous utilitarian device.
