Samaritans 5k Run/Walk for Suicide Prevention

More than 2,500 participants at our 20th Annual 5k will raise $400,000 for Samaritans, a nonprofit agency dedicated to reducing the risk of suicide, the second leading cause of death for Massachusetts youth. All proceeds help fund Samaritans’ life saving services, including our 24/7 text & phone Helpline.

USA Track and Field sanctioned 5 kilometer (3.1 miles) run along the Charles River, based at DCR’s Artesani Park, 1225 Soldier’s Field Road, Brighton for runners, joggers and walkers of all ages. Families and teams welcome. Teams and individuals participating in memory of loved ones lost to suicide are highlighted during the event.

In addition to the Run/Walk, we will have a Family Fun Festival with children's activities, food, auction, raffle, and giveaways. We will also have our Grief Support Services Ribbon Wall for individuals to remember their loved ones. Prizes for top runners and fundraisers!
