Welcome to Race for Salem Sound’s 13th annual Run for the Beach 5k! Every summer community members gather at Dane St. Beach in Beverly for a fun, family-friendly race to raise money for Salem Sound Coastwatch, an environmental nonprofit whose mission is to protect and maintain the environmental quality of the Salem Sound watershed.

We welcome all runners, walkers, and supporters! All beach activities are free to enjoy and participate in. Early bird registration for the race is $35 until June 1st, when registration increases to $45.

Bring your family and friends to enjoy:

• free kayak and stand-up paddle board demos for kids and adults

• photo booth and beach seining

• life-size “Salt” the inflatable whale

• terrific food from the Butter “UR” Biscuit food truck

Cheer on the runners while having a blast!

Register early and claim your limited edition Run for the Beach 5K T-shirt. Chip-timing provided by Bay State Race Services. Ocean-themed awards for different categories and fun, miscellaneous prizes!
