"The Glass Menagerie” centers on the Wingfields, a disconnected family living in illusions. Amanda basks in her days as a young Southern belle through countless retellings of all her gentlemen callers. Her son, Tom, spends his time writing poetry and longs for the adventure he finds in movies. And Tom’s sister, Laura, spends her days caring for her collection of glass animals. But the arrival of gentleman caller awakens possibilities for Laura, as well as Tom and Amanda. Will illusions be shattered or crystallized? For better or for worse?
