Now entering its 16th year, the Roxbury International Film Festival continues to showcase and honor the work of emerging and established filmmakers of color and has become the largest New England film festival dedicated to this genre.


The festival opens Wednesday night with "The Life and Crimes of Doris Payne" with the director in attendance.
