Room to Grow hosts its 10th Anniversary Celebrating Mothers Breakfast to celebrate the organization’s ten years in Boston investing in a better tomorrow for babies being raised in poverty. The event will honor Julie Burns, founder of Room to Grow and Annie Ozoria, an inspirational mother in the program.
Guests at the breakfast will enjoy a powerful morning of inspiration and reflection. Special guest George Foreman III, boxer, entrepreneur, and author of the recently released Fighting Spirit, will share principles from his book about overcoming adversity.
Christine Koh, founder of Boston Mamas, a stylish resource portal for families in Boston and beyond, will join us for an intimate interview with Room to Grow founder, Julie Burns who will share what motivated her to start Room to Grow.
Honoring Annie Ozoria whose three year old daughter Milania will graduate from the program this spring will be a highlight of the event. Annie will talk about how Room to Grow has helped her become a confident parent and given her the tools needed to ensure a strong start for her daughter.
Room to Grow’s innovative program provides parents raising babies in poverty with one-on-one support and essential baby items throughout their children’s critical first three years of development. Room to Grow has provided more than 15,000 hours of clinical support and distributed the equivalent of $8 million worth of essential baby items to hundreds of Boston’s most needy families over the past 10 years.
