Ever taken a risk that's paid off big-time? How about one that failed utterly and miserably? The good news is that they're all equally good fodder for stories! Come share your best true 5-minute stories of risks – physical, social, financial, emotional…you name it – at the "Risk" story slam for CIC Arts Week!


CIC, a world-renowned startup incubator in Kendall Square, is hosting the slam in collaboration with local storytelling nonprofit Massmouth as part of Boston Arts Week. Doors open at 5pm for food, drink, and mingling. The story slam, hosted by comedian and author Wes Hazard, starts at 6pm with the night's featured teller, CIC Founder & CEO Tim Rowe. We will also be toasting the launch of a new local independent fiction publication, The Cantabrigian Magazine, with a reading from the inaugural issue. It'll be a great mash-up of business and tech innovators, storytellers, and literary mavens – in short, an evening of risk-takers.
