Relief Printing: An Afternoon with The Boston Printmakers


See relief printing at its finest right here at the Museum of Printing this Saturday, June 1st, from noon to 3:00 p.m. Woodcuts, wood engravings, and linoleum cuts — we’ll have it all.


Meet members of The Boston Printmakers — Coco Berkman, Kate Hanlon, Alex Gerasev, Julia Talcott — and take in the inspiring Wood Engravers’ Network Third Triennial Exhibition! Talk with The Boston Printmakers about their work and watch wood and linoleum block carving demonstrations.


The Boston Printmakers promote public knowledge, understanding, and support for printmaking and have provided Boston and New England access to fine art printmaking since 1948. We appreciate their collaboration in celebrating the Wood Engravers’ Network Third Triennial Exhibition, a juried traveling exhibit of 64 wood engravings by 37 artists, on display through June 22nd.
