Relapse: A Love Story, by Robert Hunter, is a hilariously wild, reckless story about true love. The story revolves around Robert and his new bride, Annie, who embark on a fateful, alcohol-fuled road trip to Maine, into the remote North Country, where they become stranded and forced to confront the forces that brought them together but now threated to tear them apart. Robert is an aspiring writer. Annie is never what she seems. Raft guides have everything to do with the madness that ensues. This fast-paced novel takes the reader on an epic adventure, which leads to disaster. Everyone can relate.
