Raise A Glass To Freedom: A 4th of July Hamilton Singalong

HEAR YE –– HEAR YE!

Let it be known that on the afternoon of the Fourth Day of July, 2018, a Sacred and Storied Day to celebrate the Two-Hundred-and-Forty-Second Birthday of these United States, all ye good and brave patriots of Greater Boston and Her Nearby Counties are invited to Attend and Participate in an outdoor Sing-Along of the Well Known and Much Beloved modern theatrical extravaganza called HAMILTON: AN AMERICAN MUSICAL.

12pm: We gather at the Aeronaut Allston beer garden at Zone 3, raising many a merry mug of delicious beer!

1:45pm: The Late Risers, a brass band led by Sam Dechenne, trumpeter and resident of this city, will play Patriotic Fanfares and Other Boisterous Selections.

3pm: Gathering at the Amphitheater in front of the Great Stage, and with guidance from our esteemed friends at Boston Does Broadway, we shall commence our Crowd-Sourced Sing-Along of Hamilton: An American Musical. Hamilton tells the origins of our deeply imperfect, ongoing American experiment, much of which began in our own locality. We shall hear the entire show from front to back with a brief intermission.

Claiming songs and portions of the show they feel confident to express in bold musical tones, all performing participants shall sign up for slots beforehand at this Google Scroll. If you are reading this and desire a slot, don't hesitate to sign up now, as the spots are sure to fill with the Uttermost Quickness.

6pm: We shall close the Beer Garden and all will disperse in search of Fire Works and Further Festive Revelry.

Throughout the Afternoon, we will offer Opportunities for the Generous Citizenry of this Town to support local refugees and immigrants to our nation, always a valued part of our community, and especially in these Most Tumultuous of Times. We will be working with MIRA: Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition, who provide services in the Greater Boston area to immigrant and refugee families. 10% of all proceeds for this evening will be donated to MIRA, and Aeronaut Brewing Co will Most Happily match funds directly donated to MIRA's table up to an amount of $500. Tell your friends! Tell your neighbors! Support your Fellows in the fight for Equal Rights and Opportunities in this Young Nation!

We will post further information in this space regarding what foodstuffs will be made available for purchase on site.

Please leave all muskets at home.

Please come dressed in your most patriotic garb. We will award prizes in the categories of Most Uniquely American Costume and Most Riveting Stage Performer.
