Dr. Melodie Knowlton of Vertex is out to inspire the next generation of scientists. She partners with local schools to create real science experiments - and experiences - for high school students. A role model for female students and those underrepresented in the STEM fields, Dr. Knowlton will talk about the importance of mentoring young people to encourage them to pursue a career in science and tech.
