PROVA Friday: Come enjoy a night of dancing with Flydanse Studio
Socialize between 4pm-5pm enjoying Bachata , Kizomba music and drinks with friends
Than take one or both two free dance class brought to you by Flydanse Studio
Both classes are beginner level so no to need feel nervous. No partner is needed but we welcome you bring your partner.

You will be learning
Bachata from 5pm -6pm with a free hour to 7pm to dance and practice
Kizomba from 7pm -8pm with a free hour to dance and practice after

What is Bachata :
Bachata is a style of dance that originated in the Dominican Republic. It is danced widely all over the world but not identically. The basics to the dance are three-step with a Cuban hip motion, followed by a tap including a hip movement on the 4th beat

What is Kizomba
Kizomba is one of the most popular genres of dance and music originating from Angola. It is a derivative of Semba, with a mix of Kilapanda and Angolan Merengue, and sung generally in Portuguese. ... It was the Kimbundu name for a dance in Angola as early as 1894.

PROVA! (a word that means “Proof” in Creole) is designed to be a rich, colorful “garden”: a dynamic venue to celebrate Brockton’s rich multicultural heritage through food and drink, family fun, and diverse arts and entertainment. The PROVA! team is made up of businesses, local nonprofits, city officials, and volunteers who are working to transform the lot at 121 Main Street (before its development in March of 2019), in the heart of downtown Brockton, into a safe, fun and vibrant outdoor space for building community.
PROVA! is open to the public on Thursday and Friday evenings from 4 to 9 p.m. and some Saturday afternoons (dates pending). The mission is to prove that Brockton can come together as one community and have fun doing it, while also demonstrating the potential that exists for businesses to be successful in Downtown Brockton.
