1 in 10 Massachusetts residents—and 1 in 7 children—doesn't have enough food to eat at home. Register for Project Bread’s 3rd annual Walk for Hunger 5K Run on Sunday, May 6 and help ensure everyone in Massachusetts has access to healthy food.
Your registration fee—$30 before April 1—supports hundreds of local programs that work to prevent and end hunger in Massachusetts: food pantries, meal programs, farm and garden initiatives, food rescue, health center hunger prevention, and child nutrition programs.
5K runners will kick off the morning of the 50th Walk for Hunger. Following the 5K, tens of thousands of Massachusetts residents will walk 20 miles through Boston and surrounding neighborhoods as a demonstration of our state’s unified commitment to ending hunger.
Runners can also take on the challenge by signing up to run and walk! All participants will receive an event t-shirt.
