The Caucus for Producers, Writers & Directors and Emerson College LA invite you to a panel discussion on TV production during COVID-19.
Saturday, August 8th at 11:00 am PDT/2:00 pm EDT

Learn how four of the top producers in the industry have recently shot live and semi-live shows virtually for broadcast across multiple platforms in the middle of the pandemic. Audience Q & A to follow the panelists’ presentations.

Zoom link and reminder emails will be sent via Eventbrite in advance of the event.

Panelists include:

Jesse Collins, who executive produced the 2020 BET Awards, which was shot virtually and simulcast on both CBS and BET for the first time ever.

Raj Kapoor, who recently produced The Disney Family Singalong 1 and 2 specials and the Graduate Together special using virtual production techniques.

Paul Miller, who directed two recent specials, The National Memorial Day Concert and A Capitol Fourth, which are usually produced live for PBS. This year was especially challenging and involved directing both in person and via Zoom.
