Porch Pride is back! While the pandemic is still keeping large in person events at bay, we strive to keep Pride alive in these trying times!
About this event
Porch Pride recognizes that Stonewall was a riot against police brutality of the queer and trans community. The LGBTQ+ liberation movement is inextricably linked with the Black Lives Matter Movement. None of us are free until all are free. #BlackLivesMatter #BlackTransLivesMatter

What is Porch Pride?

Porch Pride is a socially distant and safe way to celebrate Pride outside with other members of the LGBTQ community while still remaining in a virtual setting. On June 5th starting at 11AM EST, we will get all decked out in our Pride gear, go outside onto our porches, driveways or the sidewalks in front of our apartment buildings. Play music on your Bluetooth speakers and wave at the other members of your community celebrating outside of their houses and keep Pride alive! Event will be streamed on the Remo platform. Login on your devices and participate from anywhere!

Tickets and VIP packages:

We want to make sure Porch Pride is accessible for all members of the LGBTQ+ community. The general admission ticket for an individual is $25. However, we are offering a donation based (pay what you can) ticket for students, unemployed/furloughed individuals, and seniors as we know the community has been greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The money from the tickets goes directly back into the event so that we can provide you with the loudest, proudest, gayest virtual Pride you've ever seen.

We are also offering VIP (Very Important Porch) ticket packages which include:

Early Access to Celebrity Meet-and-Greet tickets which will allow you to jump the line and get first dibs on the limited meet-and-greet slots
Add-On Tickets

Tickets to our Porch Pride After Dark Afterparty are available now! The Afterparty will feature a comedy show, live DJ set for dancing the night away, and movie screenings! You must be 18 years or older to attend the Afterparty.

Tickets for our Rainbow Kids Club are now available! This ticket is for access to the Kids Club and can either be purchased as a stand alone ticket or as an add-on ticket. Kids do not need a ticket to the main Porch Pride event in order to access the Kids Club. Our Kids Club will feature events such as drag story-time, DJ dance party, Pride themed crafts, and games! There will also be a panel about LGBTQ+ representation in children's media. Programming from 11AM-2PM (EST) will be geared toward younger children while 2PM onward will be geared toward preteens and teenagers. Fun for the whole family!

Meet and Greet tickets for featured guests will go on sale May 19th at 5PM EST for VIP ticket holders. They will go on sale to the general public on May 22! Each Meet and Greet lasts for 5 minutes and costs $50. A portion of each ticket sale will go to the charity of the celebrity's choice.

Celebrate virtually! Take pictures and go on Twitter with the hashtag #porchpride21 and tag @lezhangoutpod or join our Lez Hang Out livestream from Ellie or Leigh's porch where they'll be hanging out, playing some music and enjoying Porch Pride!

How will other people know I'm participating in Porch Pride?

Grab a Porch Pride t-shirt, tank, tote to let everyone know you're celebrating! Wrap yourself in a rainbow flag! Or just wave in gay! They'll know 😉 And you can post on social media with the hashtag #porchpride21 and tag @lezhangoutpod so we can see everyone celebrating!
