House of Blues Boston and Shelter Arcade Bar are pleased to announce a Pop-Up Arcade Bar in the House of Blues Boston Restaurant open now.
The Pop-Up Arcade Bar is open daily through Wednesday, November 14th from 5pm to close and will offer vintage arcade games and pinball machines. Players of all ages are welcome until 9pm at which point the restaurant will switch to 21+. See below for a full list of games.
Shelter Arcade Bar in Providence, RI, the first full Arcade Bar to open in Southern New England back in 2016, has provided House of Blues Boston with the arcade cabs and pinball machines.
“We are very excited to partner with House of Blues Boston to bring the ‘arcade bar’ environment to historic Lansdowne Street for this pop-up,” said Mike Maven, owner of Shelter Arcade Bar. “Especially to an environment that welcomes families and college students for most of the day. The opportunity to share our passion for arcade gaming and pinball with the city of Boston is a gift for us.”
The Pop-Up Arcade Bar at the House of Blues Boston Restaurant is open to the public and the restaurant menu will still be available. A ticket to the show in the Music Hall is not needed to attend the Pop-Up in the Restaurant. Games take quarters and there is a change machine on site.
