What's better than calming your mind and toning your body, outside by the pool, at Boston's best Rock 'n' Roll hotel? How about doing so to a soundtrack chock full of good music! Let's get moving on our mats back at the Verb Hotel for the 2016 season! Chrissy Vaccaro practice alignment based vinyasa yoga, deeply rooted in tradition, except you will move to a sound track of Rock 'n' Roll. Yoga is a great compliment to many fitness regimens (e.g., weight lifting, cardio, and martial arts), so even if you've never tried it before, Chrissy encourages you to give this a shot.


Bring your own mat and blocks, if you have them. We do have some props available. Bring your swimsuit and definitely check out Hojoko (the on-site Japanese pub-style restaurant) for a post-class snack!


*Parking is available on the street. You will be refunded in the event of inclement weather.


About the venue: The Verb Hotel
1271 Boylston has long been a landmark hotel destination in the historic Fenway neighborhood. First opened as the Fenway Motor Hotel in 1959, the space has had a mix of finger-on-the-cultural pulse, urban charm, and sense of community. Its cast of unconventional characters, electrifying music scene, and indie edge have all helped shape the events and stories that the hotel has played a part in ever since. Now, that edge and charm is back with the newly opened Verb Hotel. Restored, reloaded, and ready to let the good times roll again. Oh, and why the name? Well, if you want to get literary about it, “Verb” describes an action, and a state of being. But The Verb likes to say that it came from “reverb”—a reminder of the music and attitude that’s inspired us all throughout the years.
