The charges have been dropped against Victor, Alex, and Scott due to people power! We are so thankful for everyone’s support in holding the Lynn Police accountable for their false and racist accusations. This is a HUGE victory.
And now, although the charges have been dropped, we want to emphasize that this is not enough in our ultimate fight for justice. One of the cops involved in the situation only resigned so he can still receive his pension. This is not in line with Victor, Alex, and Scott’s idea of justice.
The Lynn Police Department has a racist history of policing their community and we cannot stand for it any longer. We are gathering for the second time in Red Rock Park on Friday, August 14th at 5:30pm in alignment with the demands of Lynn community groups who have been calling for the reallocation of the Lynn Police Department and hope you will join us.
