Poetry Reading & Art Opening


Please join us for an evening of poetry and art – with readings by Marcel Inhoff and Andrew Singer, for whom this is also an exhibit opening.


Marcel Inhoff is completing a doctoral dissertation at the University of Bonn. He is the author of the collection Prosopopeia (Editions Mantel, 2015), and the chapbook Our Church is Here (Pen & Anvil, 2018) as well as poems and essays in German and English. He is currently working on his first novel. This is Marcel Inhoff’s first reading in the United States.


Andrew Singer is a poet and visual artist residing in Manhattan. He directs Trafika Europe (https://trafikaeurope.org), showcasing new literature in English translation from the 47 Council of Europe countries.


After the reading, please feel free to stay at Outpost 186 and enjoy with us an exhibit opening of Andrew Singer’s artwork, with prints of pen-and-ink drawings selected from 30 years of works. Refreshments provided – we hope to see you there!
