Podcast Sprint: Start a New Podcast in Two Weeks

Overview

Podcasting is a valuable way to create content, engage your audience, and build your brand. With more than 164 million podcast listeners in the US (a growing!), starting a podcast for your brand, product, or business gives you a dynamic way to grow your audience.

At the end of this two week Sprint, you'll learn the answers to the following questions:
+Why start a podcast?
+What are your goals for starting a podcast?
+What is the best show format for your podcast?
+How do I start?
+How do I get listeners?

What You'll Learn

By attending, you won't only learn about podcasting, you'll be given the instruction, tools, and resources to record and publish your first episode! Sign up if you want to create tangible results!

By the end of the sprint, you'll have:
+Named your podcast, designed branding, and created your podcast cover art
+Registered your podcast with Apple, Spotify, Stitcher, and multiple other podcasting platforms
+Recorded intros and outros that you can use for your podcast
+Scripted, recorded, and edited your first podcast episode!

What's a Sprint?
A sprint is an action-oriented, interactive educational workshop designed to rapidly achieve a set goal. Innovation Coop Sprints combine instructional material, instructions to start, personalized feedback, tools, and resources to help participants achieve their goal.

What You're Signing Up For

Everyone who signs up for the Podcast Sprint will have access to:
+Instructional material presented by our instructor,
+A copy of the "Start Your Podcast" playbook with step-by-step instructions,
+Video recordings of the instructional sessions,
+Feedback from your instructor and peers on your first podcast episode,
+A Q&A office hours session to get specific questions answered by the instructor

The Podcast Sprint is free to register for, but participants will need to purchase a subscription to BuzzSprout or another podcast hosting service to publish their first episode. To record, all you need is your phone or laptop, but if you have other equipment, you're welcome to use it.
