HBO’s Bill Simmons, Super Bowl Patriots’ Devin McCourty, NFL mom, Red Sox president, an Academy award winner, ESPN journalists, Olympic, NBA, NFL athletes and coaches will explore, debate and illustrate what’s next in sports, focusing on the issues of race and gender.


Register Now for the Play It Forward summit at Boston University’s Agganis Arena, Friday, April 14, 2017, featuring Breakfast with Champions, hour-long panels, Career Café and a chat with HBO Sports Guy Bill Simmons about the future of sports journalism.


Play It Forward is sponsored by BU’s College of Communication, Department of Athletics, the Howard Thurman Center and WBUR Radio.


Doors open at 8:45 a.m. for registration and breakfast and the summit concludes at 2:30 p.m. BU students need to register but can attend for free. Sports industry leaders, athletes, fans, BU alums and faculty are all welcome to register.
