Please come and join us on July 4th, 2017 for Concord’s Picnic-in-the-Park, organized by the volunteer Picnic-in-the-Park committee. The Fourth of July celebration is an event for the whole family!


Location: Emerson Field and at the Hunt Gym (90 Stow Street, Concord, MA).

10:00 AM
The REMAX hot air balloon will also be there weather permitting at 10AM for tethered flights above the field.


11:30 AM
Picnic-in-the-Park is opened by the youngsters with a doll carriage and bicycle parade from the Concord Armory to the Emerson Field allee.


11:30 AM
A variety of food and beverages for purchase including hamburgers and hotdogs, lobster rolls, cotton candy, popcorn and fresh made strawberry shortcake.


Learn about up to 25 local non-profit organizations.


Activities include old fashioned field games, a roving railroad, a moonwalk and drill with the Concord Minute Men!


3:00 PM
The 40-piece Concord Band play a variety of patriotic tunes to end Picnic-in-the-Park on a high note!
