On Wednesday, February 15th, Piattini will host an educational tasting event with Italian Winemaker Paolo Martinelli of the La Gigliola Winery in Tuscany, Italy. The event will feature conversation with Paolo about Tuscan winemaking and a variety of piattini, or small plates, paired with La Gigliola wines.
The event will cost $45 per person and will begin at 6 p.m.
Featured piattini includes:
Lampredetto: traditional Tuscan panini with tripe and pepper pate
Beef liver and olive oil Tuscan crostini
Grilled asparagus with Tuscan bean and kale sugo
Herb goat cheese-stuffed crispy artichoke
Crispy sole with tomato and olives
Fried green olives and sausage spiedino
