The Phoenix, an innovative and free sober active community, will host the annual CrossFit “Murph” workout, with an event that is open to the public at their 54 Newmarket Square location on May 27 at 8:00am. The workout is done at CrossFit boxes across the country every Memorial Day to honor veterans and is named for Lt. Michael Patrick “Murph” Murphy, a Navy SEAL killed in action in 2005. The free event will take place outdoors, weather permitting, with Phoenix instructors adapting it for all fitness levels. A BBQ lunch will be served following the workout.
