Philadelphia is the No. 1 Most Facial Hair Friendly City in America. To celebrate, a 30-foot mobile barbershop is coming to town the last weekend of April. Master barbers will be offering whiskered citizens FREE facial hair trims for a good cause. For every trim, Wahl will donate $1 to ZERO, the leading national nonprofit with the mission to end prostate cancer.
Facial hair festivities begin at Liberty Place on Friday, April 27, 2018 where the mobile barbershop will be open to the public, and the first 50 men to get a FREE trim will receive tickets to The Philadelphia Beard Festival. Recipients must be at least 21 years old.
The next stop for the mobile barbershop will be at The Philadelphia Beard Festival on Sunday, April 29, 2018. As the title sponsor, Wahl will be there to support all the hairy happenings, including a beard competition and free beard grooming. In addition, the pheromones in Philly will surely be flying during the Bearded Speed Dating event.
Wahl is also on the lookout for the guy with best facial hair in the city to be named Wahl Man of Philly. As part of the annual Wahl Man of the Year contest, facial hair enthusiasts the chance to go mano a mano in a facial hair face-off. Wahl will select one guy from each of the Top 10 Most Facial Hair Friendly Cities and one guy from online entries. These lucky few will be crowned champion of their city and go on to compete for the ultimate in facial hair glory, the Wahl Man of the Year title.
Finalists will each win $500 and Beard Grooming Gear. Online voting will then help determine who wins the Grand Prize, which includes the title of Wahl Man of the Year and $1,500. Enter at the mobile barbershop.
