In the century since World War I, the nature of warfare has changed dramatically, though its resulting death and destruction have remained. On view January 29–March 7, 2014, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston’s spring exhibition “Permanent War: The Age of Global Conflict” brings together 16 international artists who examine the lives of military and private citizens living in this era of constant warfare. Guest curated by Pamela Allara.
