Paul Light: DXP Photographs

Paul Light creates dreamlike color images using a vintage iPhone app called DXP. Ever since he began photography in the 1970s, Paul has used various techniques to alter images, including solarization, multiple printing, double exposures, and night photography. The DXP app creates blends that cannot be seen or imagined until the app creates them, often reversing elements of the image in unexpected ways. This exhibition at Middlesex Community College, where Paul teaches, presents more than three dozen of these visually compelling images.
