Miss Tess has always been known for creating an eclectic array of vintage blues, country, and jazz sounds, ever since she first established herself as a fixture in her once-based Boston music scene. Since then she has lived in New York City, and currently finds herself based in Nashville TN, where she continues to record and tour (in non-pandemic times), ever evolving into her own brand of eclectic and original Americana.
To pay tribute to some of her influences in early jazz, she will be releasing a new album called "Doucet" in July 2020. It features two Boston-area stalwart musicians and collaborators, Lyle Brewer (guitar), and Zachariah Hickman (bass), that create a dreamy blanket around Tess' buttery vocals. Tess will be performing the entire new album solo and backing herself on guitar, but is also hoping you will then check out the wonderful playing on the album from these musicians.
