Starting your own business can be an exciting and rewarding experience. Your hard work can provide several personal benefits such as being your own boss, setting your own schedule, and earning money doing something you enjoy. But it can also be a costly mistake if you’re not prepared. Despite the appeal of being your own boss, the reality is that not everyone is cut out to be a successful business owner.
During the first session of this two-part workshop series you will learn:
- Learn about the common traits and characteristics of entrepreneurs
- Identify the risks and rewards of self-employment
- Conduct a self-assessment that will help you decide if business ownership is right for you
