You won't want to miss this one-day celebration and harbor adventure to Georges and Spectacle Islands as we celebrate the kick-off of the Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park season with a Free Ferry Day!


Enjoy an array of activities on the islands, including exploring beaches, taking a guided tour or hike, enjoying a picnic, learning about the history of the islands, visiting Fort Warren, and enjoying panoramic views of Boston.


Free Ferry Tickets to the Boston Harbor Islands are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets tend to go quickly for this event, so be sure to come early to secure your free day of fun on the islands!


Free Ferry Tickets to the Boston Harbor Islands are valid only on Saturday, May 18. Tickets are available beginning at 8:00 am on May 18th.


Ferries will depart Long Wharf to Georges Island at 10:00 am, noon, and 2:00 pm.


Ferries will depart Long Wharf for Spectacle Island at 9:30 am, 11:00 and 1:00 pm.


Return ferries arrive into Long Wharf between 12:30 pm and 6:00 pm.
