Life Science Cares is a collective effort of the life science, biotech, MedTech, and supporting industries to dismantle poverty in Greater Boston. LSC supports a network of nonprofit organizations working in the areas of basic human needs, education, and economic sustainability.
The Council of Champions, LSC's emerging leaders program, invites you to an afternoon of kayaking on the Charles river and a pizza party to benefit our grant-making to anti-poverty organizations in the Greater Boston area.
Thanks to a generous donation of boats by our host Paddle Boston, 100% of ticket revenue will benefit our grantmaking.
Boating begins at 4:30 p.m. at Paddle Boston’s Kendall Square location and you’re invited to enjoy paddling on the Charles for up to 1.5 hours. This event is rain or shine so be prepared for all the possibilities New England weather holds.
At 6:30 p.m. we will meet at Za for an after-party on the patio.
