This outdoor tour will focus on public art and sculpture on MIT's campus. We will discuss some of the themes and stories behind specific sculptures and explore the unique experience of viewing large works in an outdoor setting. We will meet outside of the Koch Institute at MIT (500 Main Street in Cambridge) and walk from there.
The tour is about 45 minutes, geared towards adults, and welcomes hungry babies, crying babies, sleeping babies, and everything in between.
Please note that due to health regulations, this tour is limited to a small number of participants and advance registration is required. During the tour, participants will be asked to remain distanced from others and to wear a mask (for anyone who is older than 2 years of age).
