You are invited to meet up with Team Norumbega members for an afternoon of orienteering at Great Brook Farm in Carlisle.
Who: Families and individuals – All ages – All experience levels -- looking for a healthful, low-impact family sport in an outdoor environment
What:
- Courses for walking or running
- Instruction provided
- Youth program available
- Accompanied by Team Norumbega members
- Refreshments off-site after the event
- There is no cost to registered guests for this event; the venue charges $3 parking

WHAT IS ORIENTEERING
Orienteering is a sport originating in Scandinavia and practiced around the world. Teams or individuals navigate point to point using a map and compass. A “course” can be taken for speed or for fun, with the natural surroundings providing an enjoyable environment. Team Norumbega consists of Lodge orienteering enthusiasts who enjoy showing others the fun and camaraderie of this sport.
