For this month's Sex Positive Boston discussion we'll be talking about orgasms and pleasure. What are some myths that are still prevalent in our culture about orgasms and pleasure? How can we think about these concepts in a more empowering way? We'll explore these questions and more!
We're going to be doing something new this month! There will be a 15 minute presentation about the topic to get us all thinking. Then we will get into a group discussion.
After the discussion, anyone who feels like it is invited to join us for chatting and hanging out at Daedalus, a bar that is next to the Democracy Center.
Show-and-tell
Following the discussion, we'll have a brief show-and-tell of any sexual acceptance related projects anyone is working on. Feel free to bring your project (or information on your project) for show-and-tell, if you have one.
Who should come?
This is a public event for people of all genders, races, class backgrounds, etc. Our hope is to have a diverse crowd. Feel free to invite people!
Accessibility
We will be meeting in the Library at the Democracy Center. While the Democracy Center is partially wheelchair accessible, the Library is not. I apologize for the lack of accessiblity for this month's discussion; I reserved the Library without realizing that it is the only public room in the building (other than the bathroom) that is not wheelchair accessible.
