Join us for First Friday at Sowa Art District to celebrate the opening of our new exhibition, "Rose's Grenadine" featuring two talented locally educated emerging artists Eva Lewis and Meghan Murray.
Both artists got together to come up with the concept of naming this exhibition Rose's Grenadine alluding to the syrupy sweet and rose colored drink mix analogous to how society often stereotype women.
Lewis and Murray received their MFA in painting from Boston University. Lewis returned home to Ohio after graduation and Murray continued living in Boston but both kept in touch to exchange ideas and maintain a strong friendship.
Our gallery is proud to have championed local artists and have worked with both artists freshly after their graduation from BU. Please come by to view their new paintings and meet them in person.
