Note: LEVEL 1 is from 3:30 to 4:30 pm - On the first day you can attend either or both.
Join us for a workout on your ukulele, whatever your level. This series of ukulele workshops (over seven consecutive weeks) encourages daily practice (even if for 10 minutes), to build and boost your skills in the following areas, with application to a song in each session:
Left-hand muting
Left-hand chord fingering – optimal and alternatives
Left-hand chord transitions
Right-hand muting
Right-hand timing and rhythm
Right and left hand coordination

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Based in Boston, Massachusetts but currently self-isolating in the rolling hills of Kent, known as the "garden of England", Anne Ku has moved all her face-to-face group classes online through ZOOM virtual sessions. Anne’s class is inclusive and encouraging. In addition to the technique, she offers terrific tricks for upping our style, jazzing it up, and makes all of it approachable, even for beginners.
I found online instruction to be helpful- especially with the materials and recordings being emailed after. The one thing I didn’t anticipate was finding a community of fellow uke players which has been fun!
