Don’t miss this slightly spooky but fun evening when old Henry Mumbower and his family revisit his Mill to see how it is operating today. Relax and roast marshmallows and enjoy some seasonal cider. Come early to paint your own pumpkin from 5-6pm.


The Evans-Mumbower Mill is located along the Wissahickon Creek, at the junction of Township Line and Swedesford Roads in Upper Gwynedd Township. Constructed in 1744, it is currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Public open houses are held once a month, where visitors can go on guided tours to see the mill in operation, and learn about the history of milling on the Wissahickon Creek.


The Mill is owned and operated by the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association (WVWA), a conservation group that is dedicated to protecting the health and beauty of the Wissahickon Creek, and enhancing life within the Watershed.
