Lace up your sneakers for the return of the Oak Square YMCA's OAKtoberfest 5K race through the streets of Brighton followed by food from local restaurants, live music, a beer garden, and family fun. 

 

The OAKtober Fest 5K is part of the YMCA of Greater Boston’s TOGETHER WE MOVE -  a two week celebration of wellness and community-building experiences with activities including five 5K road races, dozens of neighborhood fitness events for adults and families across 13 branches, and its city-wide Million Minutes of Movement Challenge. Through TOGETHER WE MOVE, the YMCA hopes to inspire and encourage everyone in the community to get moving, strengthen their health and reconnect with friends & neighbors!
