Go on a thematic tour in the Ancient Near East gallery with Lawrence Berman, Norma Jean Calderwood Senior Curator of Ancient Egyptian, Nubian, and Near Eastern Art; join a 10-minute Spotlight Talk highlighting Persian art.

Discover the ancient civilization of Persepolis:

View paintings depicting this ancient city by local artist and educator Hengameh Taraz; hear author Reza Zarghamee discuss the history of Persepolis and its influences on contemporary civilization.

Bring the kids:

Take the youngest art lovers in your life to a Story Hour; be inspired by art in the galleries to create your own masterpieces; try your hand at the ancient art of calligraphy with visiting artist Leili Solatyavari; watch a lively dance performance and participate in a workshop with the local Iranian Dance Artists group.
