Northeast Global Surgery Hackathon

This year’s Northeast Global Surgery Hackathon will be held at Tufts University School of Medicine at 145 Harrison Ave, Boston!

Come collaborate with global surgeons, anesthesiologists, obstetricians, NGOs, industry, and students to develop solutions to key issues impacting safe and effective surgical care across the globe!

The schedule is as followed:

Friday 9/20, 6–11pm:
Keynote presentation by Dr. Gregory Peck, Associate Professor of Surgery at the Rutgers Robert Woods Johnson Medical School. Pitch presentations by various physicians and professionals in global surgery will introduce problems in the field of global surgery that prevent timely and effective care.

Saturday 9/21, 8am-10pm:
Teams will break up and work on developing their solution to their assigned issue.

Sunday 9/22, 8am-12:30pm:
Each team will present their solution to a panel of judges, with the top 3 teams receiving awards!
