Experience a part of the North End you've likely never seen before, or maybe just hadn't noticed!
The North End is 1-sq mile and filled with signage and design of all kinds. In our unique walking tour, you'll visit 7 stops in the North End to learn about different styles of typography and lettering, and have the opportunity to ask me any type-related questions you can think of along the way. You'll also get some North End knowledge and learn a bit about the role design can play in the neighborhood's history.
What's a serif? What's kerning? Why is that sign in all caps? Aren't all signs done in Helvetica anyway? After our tour, you'll have expert sign and type-spotting abilities. Once you learn what good typography is, you'll never stop looking for it!
