Bookbuilders of Boston is launching the NEPCo awards to celebrate the local publishers who are experimenting, innovating, and adapting by teaming up with tech startups, upstart channels, edtech companies, and more. The finalists will present their collaborative projects on stage in a rapid-fire talk. Judges will select three winners, and the audience will vote for their favorites. The guest speaker will be David Weinberger, co-author of 'Cluetrain Manifesto' and Senior Researcher at Harvard University's Berkman Center for Internet & Society, where he writes about the effect of technology on ideas.
Tickets include popcorn. An optional ticket is also available for dinner and a post-event talk with David Weinberger, moderated by David Sandberg, co-owner of Porter Square Books.
