Join Alex for a lesson in Needle Felting! Together you'll get a feel for the medium and make a handful of mushrooms in red, yellow, and green. This is an event the whole family can enjoy. If you'd like a material kit from Alex's local pal, Jenna at Pinecones & Needles, there is an add-on feature to this workshop and Alex will ship directly to your doorstep.

If you'd like to purchase your own materials ahead of time, this is what is recommended:

Material List

• 1 oz Red Wool Roving
• 1 oz White Wool Roving
• .5 oz Yellow Wool Roving
• .5 oz Green Wool Roving
• Felting Pad (I like the Woolbuddy but styrofoam is just fine!)
• Felting Needles

Please note that felting needles are VERY sharp. Much sharper than a sewing needle, for they are "barbed". This is certainly an event the family can enjoy but please be mindful that if a kiddo pricks their finger, it will hurt a fair bit. We recommend having a band-aid nearby (since they make everything feel better).
