Narragansett Beer Tasting and OldJack Music on Georges Island

Keep summer alive a little longer with the help of Narragansett and OldJack and The Life Electric!

The festivities begin at 12:00 with the musical stylings of The Life Electric and OldJack. The Life Electric hails from Boston and has opened for Neon Trees, Crash Kings, and Marcy Playground, among others. Their sound has been described as a combination of modern disco, the Flaming Lips, and pure ROCK. Also from Boston, OldJack, with two guitars, bass, drums, organ/keys, three female background singers, and a "front man from yesterday", belts out their original material with lots of harmonies, big vocals, and guitar solos galore.

From 1:00-3:00, Narragansett Brewing Company will provide a delightful tasting of some of their seasonal beers and long-standing favorites. The Narragansett beer tasting will be opened up to walk-ups and other park visitors at 2:00, so please arrive promptly at 1:00 to ensure you get your tasting. A picnic lunch and additional beer will be available for purchase from Rita’s Catering. Cash is the preferred method of payment.

All participants must be 21 years of age or older and must present a valid ID upon entering the beer tasting.
