FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE U.S!
A duel... A truly masculine method of resolving conflicts in matters involving honor and love. The musical duel between three tenors and three baritones, invented and embodied on stage by creator and author David Gvinianidze, is a musical contest between two male voices, a friendly competition involving jesting, laughter, and banter amongst the contestants.
Meet the competitors. TENORS: Adam Klein, USA (Metropolitan Opera), Alejandro Olmedo, Mexico (Winner of Placido Domingo's International Competition), Juan del Bosca, Mexico (New York Lyric Opera).
BARITONES: David Gvinianidze, Georgia (New Opera Moscow Theater), Vago Ohanyan, Armenia (New York City Opera), Petr Sokolov, Russia (Moscow Stanislavsky Musical Theater).
Our opera stars will perform masterpieces of popular vocal classics. Competing vocally and dramatically; duelists reveal themselves to the audience from an unexpected angle, not only performing at the highest level of execution, but with a fair amount of humor.
Joining the tenors and baritones is Talents of the World's President, recipient of the U.N.'s medal for promoting arts and culture, world-renowned baritone David Gvinianidze. And, what duel would be complete without the beautiful ladies? Two Prima Donnas: Ukrainian coloratura soprano Olga Lisovskaya (winner of several prestigious competitions and soloist of Commonwealth Lyric Theater, among others) and a British/French mezzo-soprano, Sophie Michaux - queen of fioritura, a truly versatile singer.
