If you're ready for an ADVENTURE, this is it. The Six Husbands trail is on the "Terrifying 25" list and includes ladders, scrambles, and caves. Weather on 8/20 looks great in the Presidentials (so far). We'll go down the Sphinx trail back to trailhead.
This is a very challenging hike, so please don't sign up if you're not well experience in the Presidentials region. I recommend a lightweight setup for your gear (small backpack, trail runners, no more than 2L water, etc.). There's plenty of water sources alongside the trail and I strongly recommend hydrating like hell before the hike.
Let's plant to arrive at the trailhead at 8:15, start the hike at 8:30. It's going to be a hot day, so I'll bring a cooler of beers for when we're done.
