Join us for an exciting and timely talk by the Academic Director of our new MS in Law: Life Sciences program (MSLL), Prof. Renée Landers. Learn more about compliance, privacy, and data security in this mini-class. All are invited.

One important area for compliance attention in the life sciences sector is protecting the privacy and security of health information and other data about individuals used in research. This class will invite participants to explore the issues for regulatory compliance in relation to HIPAA and the GDPR, as well as the potential impact of developments in the states such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and a recent proposal by the Massachusetts Governor to restrict access to vital records on births, deaths, and marriages.
