Come join Mr. Hip and celebrate the digital release of his second hip-hop project, #AreWeOnYet? Mr. Hip is a vegan, poet & literature professor turned emcee. He will be performing his album in its entirety live at the Lily Pad with special guest Troopy Gang, President Ella, Cash Jack, and Miss___Smith.


Mr. Hip, a staple in the Boston / New England poetry community, Mr Hip is an independent, vegan, jazzy, hip-hop, artist, poet, painter, performer, and avid lover of all things art. Originally from [Southeast] Washington, DC, his music blends an eclectic mix of rap, style, swag, and music for all listeners ranging from hipsters to those who serve time in prison. While he is a poet by craft, his poems can be found online in a variety of literary magazines. His first music video ‘Always Love’ ft. Maria Dontas was
released in May of 2015 in anticipation for his first full-length project titled: #JokesFromMyEx, which was released September 29, 2015. He is currently awaiting the release of Are We OnYet?


Troopy Gang" is a rap group based out of Boston. Created by young trilly a year ago, the group was established and hand picked by the leader with the soul purpose of creating a musical army that can spread musical vibrations through sounds. Troopy Gang is managed by the Still Ill label also based out of Boston. Artists in the roster for Troopy Gang are: Young Trilly, Ace Da Truth & Mecca Cashier.


President Ella is the dopest upcoming rap-star out of New York City. Originally from Central Falls, RI, Ella can be found performing all over the local New York hip-hop spots. After graduating from Loyola University Maryland, she went on to be the founder of JustWhatWeWannaDo.com. When she's not working Creative Ops for Saks Fifth Aev and Saks Off Fifth ave, you can find her spitting the dopest of rhymes. Find out more on Ella at @PresidentElla.


Cash Jack
This duo comprised of Corey Lavish & 4EvaJae is coming straight of out Boston. Corey Lavish can be very egotistical in the most humble way. For years he’s been crafting his skills industriously and has been motivated to inspire listeners through his melodic, jazzy tone, vibe and including his versatility. 4EvaJae's love for writing music started in the fourth grade when introduced to Tupac's poems. These two childhood friends have found love not only in Boston, but also hip-hop music.


Miss___Smith
Eve also known as @Miss___Smith is originally from Washington, DC but has now found herself in the city of Boston studying at Emerson College. While Miss___Smith is quite handy with directing and shooting music videos, she is also slick with the M-I-C and can't wait to perform some of the tracks from her latest EP, "About Time."
